Plates & Pages

PLATES & PAGES - Maialata Edtion

September 17th - Five on Vine - 5pm

Household Books and Crown Restaurant Group come together to present another edition of Plates & Pages, our signature prix fixe wine dinner series which combines five courses, five wines, and five literary pairings. Join us for an unforgettable evening at Five on Vine featuring an in restaurant pop-up bookstore from Household Books, incredible wines from Two Mountain Winery, and an extraordinary dinner prepared by Crown Restaurant Group’s culinary team.

Our theme, Maialata, draws on an ancient and Italian tradition celebrating the pig. This time-honored ritual involved entire communities coming together to butcher, salt, and preserve the animal during the winter months. After a day of labor, the community would gather for a feast, honoring the animal that would sustain them throughout the year.

Join us as we recreate Maialata to celebrate our own community and this cherished tradition. Household Books owner Bobby Minelli, Two Mountain’s winemaker Matthew Rawn, and Corporate Chefs Dave Bever and Brian Young will guide you through an evening of food, family, and wine, and together we’ll tell the story of what sustains us through the year.

Ticket sales are final after 9/3. Please email any questions to events@crgcincy.com.

Tickets to our butchery demonstration, led by Chef Brian Young, in preparation of this dinner are also available for purchase. Space is limited and these tickets are sold separately.

      Classic Restaurant

At Uncode Restaurant, we focus on a complete experience. In doing so, we want to highlight the relationship between the raw nature, produce and our cultural history.

      Food that restores, and revives.

Located on London, a street that dates back to the 17th century, Uncode is the latest restaurant lounge by Undsgn Group and Chef Christine Bottura.

      Our Chef

Christine making his debut in his hometown Chicago, crafts a straight-forward yet progressive menu drawn from his culinary influences from French technique, Asian heritage, and bi-coastal gallivanting. He transforms fresh and, when possible, locally-sourced produce into thoughtful dishes.

      Our Sous Chef

Having left a career in the futures brokerage industry, Sofia Jeffrey chose the path of cooking with the aspirations of traveling. However after finishing his studies at the Cooking and Hospitality Institute of Chicago; he set out to first put in time in the best kitchens in Chicago began to hone his skills.
